Zoe Buckman's feminist hip-hop lingerie

"I swear I'll never call you bitch again" the embroidered suspenders read. Zoe Buckman takes a rather nontraditional approach to feminism. Her lace-y retro lingerie is embroidered with lyrics from Tupac Shakur and Biggie- HipHop has always been one of the most sexist forms of pop-music, but I personally rarely listen to Rap or HipHop and wouldn't have been able to detect that those are, in fact rap lyrics. While many quotes are sexist, some of them also show appreciation for women. Buckman's hand embroidered placement of the lyrics on the garments is just too perfect. Have a look at the Every Curve installation on her website here.
'I wonder why we take from our women, why we rape our women, do we hate our women?'
'I think it's time to kill for our women, time to heal our women, be real to our women'
'I've got the cleanest meanest penis'
'And there's no way I can pay you back but my plan is to show you that I understand you are appreciated'
