6 questions with Faro Musodza, Model

I met Model Faro Musodza at a fashion show for The Social Studio in 2012. Since then the Zimbabwean beauty has been on numerous catwalks and editorials- follow her on facebook and instagram to keep up to date with her amazing work.

1. When and how did you start modelling?
I started modelling when I was 14.  Because I often kept to myself, my mother’s friends suggested that I attend modelling and deportment classes to build up my confidence. It was really enjoyable and I found it worth pursuing, so after finishing high school, I got into modelling full time whilst studying and have kept at it ever since.

On my days off I usually end up doing.. nothing. Today I stocked up on some cosmetics, bought roses, and made my bf take an #ootd shot. I've been living in my Birkenstocks recently- they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.

 Also, my cat Goji pictured with a Chanel ribbon- unfortunately he didn't like wearing it as much as I hoped he would.

I really like mixing rough, boy-ish clothing with very girlsý, intimate pieces. Like a lace bralet and boy's gym shorts, or, like in this picture taken by Stephanie Thy at a recent test shoot, EvilTwin cut-out jeans and a Peter Alexander silk camisole that is part of a pyjama set.
