We've all been there: You desperately want to buy a bag, dress or pair of shoes that has sold out in stores, was released last year or simply isn't in your budget. Hunting for bargains online is one of my favourite pastimes, so I've compiled a list of online stores to consolidate for your shopping cravings.
Vestiaire Collective
Advertising itself as the leading fashion social shopping site for curated pre-owned premium and luxury products, you'll be able to find anything and everything 'designer' from closets all over the world. Brands like Burberry, Celine and Valentino can be found amongst vintage Chanel and Louis Vuitton, and the site carters to men, women and children. All items are inspected for their authenticity, you can use paypal for all transactions. There's an app too!
eBay
Good ol' eBay is a thrusty way to acquire second hand designer items- however, it is often hard to distinguish between fakes with bidding prices starting at 0.99$ when the seller has a 100% rating. By using paypal for all transactions you will be entitled to a refund when you've bit the bullet and bought a counterfeit item. A handy guide on how to make every transaction a successful one can be found here
Facebook Groups
If you live in Australia, take a look at High End, a group where locals sell their pre-loved Dion Lee and Zimmerman amongst international labels like Alexander Wang and Givenchy. Security regarding payments and postage are disputable, but you're guaranteed to find a bargain.
The Editor's Closet
Laid out like an instagram feed, with very affordable prices and pre-loved pieces by fashion editors and bloggers from Sydney, the Edit is worth bookmarking. Because who doesn't love Chloe Heels and Lanvin dresses?
