Copy Cats: Fashion Bloggers

I look to fashion blogs, books and magazines for many of my outfit ideas, so 'copy cats' will be a weekly post that might help fashion addicts with either limited budgets for clothing or lack of great department stores nearby, or both (aka my situation) find items on the internet that will bring us one step closer to looking like a blogger. This week, one of my favourite bloggers, Rumi Neely of fashion toast is wearing this extremely comfortable-looking Zara Mohair sweater and Vanessa Bruno lace skirt in Paris. Autumn and Spring are basically the same season, or so I tell myself since it's the latter in Australia- so NOW is THE TIME to wear rugged knits with bare legs! There will be approximately 27 more days with weather conditions ideal for this look. Don't miss out.

At the couture shows in Paris, January this year, Susie Bubble was wearing a VagabondNYC Vintage Varsity Jacket. The bulkiness of said jacket balances the bare legged-look she's going for. Because I never got myself to buy a varsity jacket- let alone such a stylish one- they have been going in and out of style for every-other season. I've come to the conclusion that it's worth buying and keeping one, just because of that. Call it 'come-back, recycling or even re-incarnation if you've got the nerve to add badges to it.

On my days off I usually end up doing.. nothing. Today I stocked up on some cosmetics, bought roses, and made my bf take an #ootd shot. I've been living in my Birkenstocks recently- they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.

 Also, my cat Goji pictured with a Chanel ribbon- unfortunately he didn't like wearing it as much as I hoped he would.

Personally, I believe that whatever you put into something is what you get back from it- whether it is work, art or a relationship, so I always try to do my best. I really want to be more positive and achieve more this year, which is one of the reasons I wanted to launch ‘we bode’. I love people, especially ones that try to be creative and I believe in fairness. Just because someone is deemed important, their opinion is not neccessary more valid than anybody else’s.

When I started modelling i had very low expectations, and whenever someone asks me how I got so successful, I laugh- I used to work three jobs in London and I still haven’t completely figured out what I want to do with my life.
